Privacy Policy

Last updated 20 June 2026

This policy explains what [LEGAL ENTITY] (“PeePom”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the PeePom website and app, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.

PeePom is an early-stage product, so our setup will change as we build. We'll keep this page up to date as it does.

1What we collect

  • Account details. Your email address and login information when you sign up.
  • Videos you upload.The video files you send us to analyse, plus what we work out from them — the retention curve, scores, and suggested edits.
  • Account benchmarking data. Only if you opt in: your own past videos and their performance, used to compare against your new uploads.
  • Usage data. Basic technical information your browser sends, plus how you move through the app, so we can keep it working and improve it.
  • Messages. Anything you send us when you get in touch.

2How we use it

  • to run your analysis and give you your report;
  • to benchmark against your own history, if you've opted in;
  • to run, secure, and improve the Service;
  • to reply to you and send you account or service messages.

3Your videos stay yours

We don't share your uploads with other users, show them publicly, or sell them. We don't use your videos to train a general model for other people. We use them to produce your results, and — only with your opt-in — to benchmark your own account.

4Who else touches your data

We rely on a few trusted providers to run the Service — things like hosting, storage, authentication, and the processing that analyses your videos. They only handle your data to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and security commitments. We don't sell your data or hand it to advertisers.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the Service, our users, or our rights.

5How long we keep it

We keep your uploads and results for as long as your account is active, so you can come back to them. If you delete a video or your account, we remove the associated files from active systems, though backups may take a little longer to clear. We may keep limited records where the law requires it.

6Your choices

You can view and update your account details, opt in or out of benchmarking, delete individual videos, or delete your account entirely. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or object to certain uses. To make any of these requests, email us at the address below.

7Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute protection, but we take it seriously and will tell you if something goes wrong in a way that affects you.

8Age

PeePom is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has used the Service, let us know and we'll remove their data.

9Where your data is handled

We're based in [JURISDICTION], and your data may be processed there or in other countries where our providers operate. Where data moves across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by law.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product grows. If a change matters, we'll give you reasonable notice. The date at the top shows when we last updated it.
